“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
I am deeply saddened and I am grieving for people in Boston. I am so sorry. I pray for them … the medical personnel, the firemen, the clergy, the policeman, the school teachers, the parents of young children, and the families of those killed or gravely wounded.
I feel a camaraderie with Bostonians tonight.
Today reminded us again that we are at war. And I doubt this will be the last time, realized daily by those of us who follow the news internationally. The main cause of all murderous action is an insane rebellion against our Creator, which is at the root of this murderous action.
Evil is real and today in Boston reminded us of the truth of I John 5:19: We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.
And the Apostle Paul tells us what to do: Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
So we soldiers stay at our post, even as we pray …
