As we push into 2006, I will continue to link daily, if possible, to Sacred Space and The Daily Office, and I encourage you to do so as well. We must make time to listen for the Lord’s voice. As I get older, I am convinced that we must be more quiet and reflective in our Bible reading.
I will try to learn from others. (If you like this New Year’s resolution piece by Thomas Huang, consider subscribing to Journalism with a Difference from the Poynter Institute. I really like getting it. You certainly don’t have to be a writer or journalist to glean from it.) We have so much to learn from others.
You pray for me, and I will pray for you, that this year we will wait for the Lord, knowing that He alone renews our strength.
