I have just finished my class at Phoenix Seminary called “The practice of Spiritual Formation.” It’s been a great 7 weeks as I have joined a dozen other seminary students (most Master of Divinity students) to ponder what it means to have Christ formed in us.
On several evenings Jennifer and I have driven a few miles east of the condo we rent to watch the sun set over the Valley of the Sun. Two nights ago we drove up the road toward Taliesin West, to watch the sun go down. Taliesin West is located in northeast Phoenix and is the home of the school of architecture of the famed Frank Lloyd Wright.
The sunsets over Phoenix can dazzle you…

Camelback Mountain in the distance, the most distinct landmark in Phoenix.
It looks amazing out there! I can’t wait to hear about it when you get back!
