When I talk with pastors and Christian leaders it is rare that I don’t hear about this or that conflict in which they find themselves. In one recent talk with a pastor who was telling me about a major conflict in his church where he is receiving some sharp criticism, I asked him to consider these 5 questions as a way to start resolving and moving beyond his conflict:
What impact have my actions had on you?
How have I hurt you?
Do you think there should be any consequences?
What can I do to make things right?
How would you like me to change my behavior?
