I like this 2-minute film made by Jeroen Wolf. He took to the streets of Amsterdam and asked people to look into the camera and state their age. It begins with a baby and ends with a woman in her hundredth year.
My 82-year-old mom told me the other day that the years are zooming by. This film is a couple minutes long but the amazing thing is how much it feels like life. It starts slow then suddenly at around 30 or so voices change and the faces are suddenly adult.
And then even more suddenly everybody seems old.
I guess by the time you think about it, well, it’s almost over. Yes, friends, this one life we have goes fast… Zoom! After watching this two-minute clip, I wanted to live a life of deeper meaning.
