The Anonymous People movement is growing! May their number increase 10-fold!!

Last night at the Art Theatre in Champaign with Jennifer and hundreds in recovery from the Champaign-Urbana community, I viewed the powerful The Anonymous People, a documentary on the history and strength of the millions-strong Recovery community in the United States. The showing came as a result of the inimitable Veronica Valli, whose blog, especially because of all the people she interviews who are in recovery, always is inspiring. … The evening was inspiring, sobering, hopeful, realistic.  This is not the time for giving up…

Valli’s book tells her story of growing up in England and becoming an Alcoholic.  She’s now 14 years sober and a talented, persistent addiction counselor!
