I spent the day with Geno Olison, a dear friend and Vineyard Church planter in Chicago’s south suburbs. Geno and Shannon Olison lead the South Suburban Vineyard in Homewood, IL.
Geno and I talked in his home office (shown here) before he gave me a tour of the suburbs where he and his team are ministering … Homewood, Flossmoor, Markum, Hazel Crest, Country Club Hills and Glenwood. And then took me to his favorite Thai restaurant, where we talked for 2 hours.
Geno is a visionary, a leader, a father and husband and a great conversationalist. Every time I am with him I do most of the listening. He’s not yet 30 years old, but this Chicago boy is wise beyond his years and has lots to teach this old clod of dirt from Northwestern Kansas.
