I was praying about Jesus’ words to Martha about her sister Mary having chosen the good thing — sitting at Jesus’ feet, listening to him teach.
So I decided to take a long walk this morning out here at Glen Eyrie in Colorado Springs where I am this week for the Vineyard missions conference.
After an hour or so of walking and listening to nature I was heading back to my room when suddenly I felt the Lord speak to me about one good thing he wanted to say to me today.
Here’s what he said, “I am a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.” That’s right from Isaiah’s prophecy about Jesus in Isaiah chapter 53. I know when I heard it that it was definitely the Lord’s voice.
Let me know what God is saying to you today.
