"In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded. But you remain the same, and your years will never end." Psalm 102:25-27
This morning as I came upon this reading from the Psalms I felt small and insignificant in a world whose foundations were laid at the beginning of time. "Who is man that you are mindful of him?" I wondered.
I’m a pretty selfish guy, but for at least a moment it hit me that this thing called LIFE is not so much about me as it is about the God who created life at the beginning of time.
The God I worship laid the foundations of the universe, and He will remain the same forever. The world He created will end, but God’s years will never end…
