After our morning walk, Kyle Benefield proceeded to show me how to shave. Here he
is putting on lather with a shaving brush. I think he got it from my grandfather's stash. Until recently the brush had been in a box of shaving supplies for 30 years. And then Kyle is shown scraping his face with a real straight razor, which he sharpens [literally stropping … done on a strip of leather].
And then every Saturday morning Kyle and Ellen do a children's program and provide breakfast for about 100 children from their neighborhood. Here they are shown leading singing. After singing and a lesson about David and Goliath, the children ate eggs and chorizo [Mexican sausage] and tortillas.
