It regularly occurs to me that my prayers rise above earth’s lamentations. Here’s a list of prayer requests submitted to Irish monks for prayer on a site linked to Sacred Space, a wonderful online prayer site I visit almost every day.
Click on requests (above) and scroll down the page. Merely scroll through the huge number of requests for very serious issues submitted by people throughout the world. You just can’t help but sense the clashing of the Kingdom of Light and the Kingdom of darkness throughout the world.
I read through the list for about 15 minutes earlier today and could only prayer, "Lord Jesus, Your Kingdom Come, Your will be done."
