Jennifer and I were among about 15 couples who took the 7-week marriage course this summer.
It is a terrific course featuring Nicky and Sila Lee from the Holy Trinity Brompton Church in London. That’s the same church where ALPHA orginated.
The course costs $70 and includes a relaxing candle-light dinner (the food was delicious), privacy and an interactive video featuring Nicky and Sila. They are excellent communicators and very easy to listen to. You interact each week, but with only your spouse. You then do homework (marriage time) during the week.
You’ll be forced to face your issues — which will make your marriage stronger — in a quiet and safe environment.
The Vineyard folks who run the course — Ron and Cathy Heron, Bob and Jennifer Lindstrom, Blake and Sue Harvey and Jan Neukomm — pulled out the red carpet every week and waited on us hand and foot.
