The last two Sundays (June 20 and 27) I have met with about 60 men of our church in the prayer house southeast of the building. These groups (I called them focus groups) gave me a good sense of where the men of our church are. Very fascinating to listen to men talk about their desires and hopes as men and for the men of our Vineyard.
Many of the men said, “We want people to know they are thinking about us during the week.” Well, I am. This Men of the Vineyard web journal is such an attempt. I’ll try to post to the Men of the Vineyard site regularly in an attempt to stay in touch. If you subsribe, you’ll get a message in your email saying there’s been another post to the Men of the Vineyard site. Simple as that. If you know any men who might be interested, forward this post and see if they, too, might be interested in men’s issues.
